I deliberated for months before buying this and I genuinely wish I'd done it sooner. The bouclé fabric is even softer in person than in the photos — it has that loopy, tactile quality that you just want to keep running your hand over. The rocking base is smooth and completely silent, which I didn't expect at this price point. It now lives in my bedroom reading corner and I use it every single morning with my coffee.
We went for the oatmeal colourway and it ties the whole room together in a way none of our other furniture has managed. It's genuinely oversized — much bigger than it looks in photos — so make sure you have the space. But if you do, it is absolutely worth it. My partner and I actually argue about who gets to sit in it first in the evenings. The rocker motion is gentle and calming, nothing abrupt.
Every evening at 9pm I make a chamomile tea, sit in this chair, and read for an hour. The combination of the deep cushioning and the gentle rocking motion is unlike anything else I've tried. I previously had a mid-century accent chair which looked great but was never actually comfortable to sit in for long. This is the opposite — not the most minimal design, but the comfort is extraordinary.
The chair itself is stunning and the build quality feels genuinely premium — the wood base is solid and heavy, and the upholstery is beautifully finished with no loose threads or uneven tufting. My only note is that the assembly instructions could be clearer and it's really a two-person job to attach the base. Once together though it is rock-solid (pun intended). Took the charcoal version for my study and it's exactly the kind of statement piece I was looking for.
Delivery took a little longer than expected but the moment I unpacked it I forgot all about that. The packaging was excellent — not a single mark on the fabric. I chose the sage colourway and it pairs beautifully with our natural linen sofa. The tufting is deep and even and the bouclé has a lovely resilience to it — it doesn't flatten down with use. Our cat has also claimed it, which I'm choosing to take as a quality endorsement.
I bought this for my home office with the intention of using it for calls and quick breaks. It has quietly become the place where I do my most focused thinking — something about the gentle rocking motion genuinely helps me process ideas. The charcoal upholstery looks incredibly sharp against the white walls and the solid wood base adds a warmth that prevents it from feeling cold or corporate. Thoroughly recommend.

For everyday dust and pet hair, a soft brush or lint roller works perfectly. For small marks, blot gently with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild fabric cleaner — never rub, as this can distort the looped fibres. Avoid steam cleaning or soaking the fabric. Regular gentle brushing keeps the bouclé looking full and textured.
The chair ships flat-packed for safe transport and requires attaching the solid-wood rocker base to the upholstered seat body. All hardware and a clear instruction guide are included. We strongly recommend having two people for assembly, as the seat section is large and heavy. Most customers complete assembly in around 30–45 minutes.
The rocker base provides a natural, free-gliding arc of motion — this is fixed and is part of what makes the chair so soothing to sit in. There is no lockable mechanism. If you prefer your chair completely static while seated, a non-slip rug placed beneath the rockers will significantly slow and dampen the movement.
The chair is available in four colourways: Grey, Black, White, and Beige. Each colourway is photographed in the product gallery. Please note that screen colours may vary slightly from the actual fabric — if you are unsure, ordering a fabric swatch card before purchasing is recommended.
The sturdy steel internal frame supports a generous seating capacity of up to 120 kg. The chair is designed for single-occupancy use by one adult at a time and is not intended for standing on or use as a step.
